Welcome to the HubuMedia folding@home team page
A long time ago on a computer network far far away I found out about folding@home; Basically, folding@home is a way for scientists to use volunteer computers across the world to help them solve complicated problems, studying diseases and work to find solutions.
Some of the diseases they are trying to come up with cures for our Alzheimer’s, mad cow disease, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and many types of cancer.
Since I had access to some powerful computers, I thought it would be a good idea to start my team. One of the nice things that the Stanford website does for you gives you team statistics on how well your folding team is doing. It’s sort of like a competition to see how many work units you can process.
You can take a look at our team rankings page at this link.
The HubuMedia team number is 59438.
One of the amazing things is how all well the HubuMedia folding team is doing. So far there are approximately 204,000 teams across the world that are folding at home.
Team HubuMedia is ranked number 353 in the world! We have completed over 53,337 work units to date and had a score of over 333 million!
Folding at Home is an excellent way to help out scientists find cures for diseases by utilizing some unused computer processing power.
We would be more than happy to have you Join the HubuMedia folding@home team. All you have to do is go to the folding@home website, download the application to your computer and run it.
